A little under three years ago, I got to meet one of my music ‘heroes’, Paul Colman. He performed at a local church with two other artists, Adam Agee and Scott
It was a great show with great performances but the highlight for me was when Paul asked if he could swap me a cd for my book, (The Eden Conflict). I have no idea if he has read it, but just knowing that he wanted it made my night.
And I got a photo to prove it….
I don’t know why, but I remembered this yesterday and thought I would share this with you all.
For those of you who don’t know Paul, he is a Christian singer who I first heard of when he was part of the Paul Colman Trio with a song called Dip. I liked that song so much I purchased the album, Serious Fun and it quickly became (and is still) one of my favourite albums. After a few years he went solo and then joined Newsboys for a few years. If you want to learn more about Paul visit his website… www.paulcolman.com or paulcolmantrio.com or even the Newsboys site www.newsboys.com. Or just go to iTunes and have a listen his music.
Have you met one of your ‘heroes’? Do you listen to Paul Colman or the Newsboys? Let me know by leaving me a comment!
